Seeking Percussionist / Drummer

We are a new acoustic oriented band that started in September 2020. We are looking for a talented percussionist / drummer to join us. We are a quartet in east county San Diego. We are all around 60 years old. We all play multiple instruments and are experienced musicians and songwriters. We mainly do acoustic original material with some covers thrown in. We put a lot of emphasis on vocal harmonies but are not expecting a percussionist/drummer to sing – but it would be a bonus. We rehearse in El Cajon. We have our own unique sound but we could be compared to America, Crosby-Still-Nash, The Beatles, The Eagles, Neil Young and similar groups with a little Shel Silverstein thrown in for humor. For example, some of the covers we do are Helplessly Hoping (CSN), Old Man (Neil Young), If I Fell (Beatles) and Lucky Man (Emerson, Lake & Palmer). We are also open to trying newer bands covers. We do Still (Great Lake Swimmers) and are looking at doing Hero (Family of the Year). We work hard and take the quality of the music we make very seriously. However, we always have fun and enjoy what we are creating. We don’t care about your age or gender as long you have talent and are easy to get along with.
