M O Nelson & Sons has an opening for a Fleet Tire Technician who is responsible for service and maintenance of tires, wheels, and chains for our log truck, flat bed, lowboy, chip truck and pick-up fleets.
Primary Responsibilities:
Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels; repairing, rotating, and inflating tires; attaching and re-balancing wheels; using and maintenance of equipment; assisting other employees; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Responsible for air pressure checks when trucks are parked in the yard. Maintain tire, wheel and chain inventory.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license; ability to lift 45-75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing. Offer contingent upon passing physical capacities and drug screen tests. Understanding of commercial truck tire brands, models and sizes.
