We are looking for volunteers here at the North Lincoln County Historical Museum in Lincoln City. We are open Wednesday - Saturday, from 11-4. 1. Front desk help. If you have an interest in local history, pay attention to detail, have some giftshop/point of sale experience, and enjoy chatting with visitors, this could be a good fit for you! Our current need is for volunteers who can give 1-4 hours of their time, one day per week as a front desk greeter here at NLCHM in Lincoln City under the direction of our office manager. 2. Research Library Assistant. This opportunity is for those who love history and like to work behind the scenes. This is for those who don't mind repetitive work - such as filing, data entry, sorting, scanning, etc. It's a fun way to learn the history and keep an important part of the museum running smoothly. Computer experience is a plus, as we have a lot of digitization projects and data entry into our museum collection software. We are looking for someone that can consistently come one day per week for 1-4 hours under the direction of our museum director. Thanks for reading - see you at the museum!
