DSD Companies, Inc. in business since 1986 has immediate openings for full-time swing shift warehouse associates. Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred. Warehouse employees are expected to perform the following duties, but are not limited to them: ● Unload cargo from trucks ● Unload airplane cargo from containers ● Palletize merchandise ● Shrink wrap merchandise ● Clean warehouse by sweeping up trash from the floors, and putting plastic wrappings from cargo into compactor ● Move merchandise around to different locations in the warehouse ● Label merchandise ● Load trucks with merchandise ● Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. To be able to drive a Forklift for DSD Trucking Inc. an employee must obtain a Forklift Driver permit by attending a Forklift Class from DSD. If the employee attends a Forklift Operation and Driving class and is able to successfully pass it the employee will be able to drive the forklift. He or she will be responsible for but not limited to: ● Unloading cargo from trucks ● Sectioning cargo in warehouse ● Loading up trucks with cargo ● Follow forklift rules and regulations ● Moving heavy equipment around the warehouse (Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.)
