Full Time Maintenance Tech position is open for a multi-family housing community. Looking for someone with good common sense, self-motivator and can work with minimal supervision once trained. Experience In: • Multifamily housing with experience involving the public a plus • Snow removal procedures • Willingness to pitch in and work in other areas other than maintenance • Will be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying, heights • Following instructions, prioritizing duties, and complying with deadlines • Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance, including practices, methods, tools, materials, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and groundskeeping • Ability to maintain records and communicate effectively The maintenance technician has the overall responsibility to safely maintain the physical condition and overall appearance of the property. Maintenance is responsible for maintaining a professional image and attitude as well as treating members with courtesy and respect. Maintenance will report to the office for assignments each morning. Duties include but are not limited to: completion of service requests in a timely and efficient manner, completion of make readies, regular maintenance of building exteriors, common areas, perform a variety of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and preventative maintenance tasks, attend training as required, perform additional duties as assigned.
