Help Care for 500 Newly Rescued Hens!

Calling all volunteers!!! We urgently need your help! Animal Place, a non-profit farmed animal sanctuary, needs help caring for 500 newly rescued hens who legally came from a battery-cage egg farm! We need help with de-clumping (separating the newly rescued hens at nighttime so they have adequate space to sleep) in the evenings and barn cleaning in the mornings for the next two weeks in Petaluma, Ca. Morning barn cleaning shifts from 8-11am and evening de-clumping shifts are from 7:45-9:30 pm. If you are interested in helping, please email me and I can provide you with more information. These hens are touching dirt and grass, seeing the sky, and stretching their wings and legs for the first time in their lives! It's an incredible experience to be a part of!
