Energy Independence for the US happened in 2019, it means we produce more oil and gas than we consume not needing the Middle East suppliers who have disruptions due to wars or who might want to jack up the prices for political reason, the last time we were was energy independent was 1957. Not all those jobs were temporary the pipeline needs continual maintenance and monitoring. Ironically by closing it there will be more pollution not less. A pipeline is the safest, most efficient and less polluting way of transportation. Canada is now selling the oil to China that puts it on oil tankers (more polluting transportation) and refines it using less greenhouse gas restrictions than we were. It's closing is worse for the environment not better. Standing up to China with tariffs didn't actually hurt farmers for long, they were given collectively $28 billion, more some experts say than they would have earned. Your personal attacks on Trump show how childish your thinking is. By sanctioning the Russian pipeline to Germany they were denied desperately needed income. Oil Gas is 70% of their total exports and earns more than half of their governments revenue. I'm sure you're aware how they've been hacking important industries in the US for ransom, what sense does it make to remove the pipeline to Germany sanctions? We offered Germany the same supplies without having to rely on theirs and our enemy. Leadership ability, standing up to Russia with sanctions on their pipeline, the same to China with tariffs. Denying them income weakens both economically. During the pandemic Trump relied on Fauci for facts and ways to fight it, now through Fauci emails we know he purposely withheld vital information which caused people to die. Job Creation, Trump's economic polices produced amazing results. Never before in our history did Blacks and Latinos have more jobs and less unemployment along with higher wages. 7 million more job openings than workers to fill them. Trying to ignore it only shows how ignorant and petty you are. Part of the far left wing is the MSM and Democratic Party and Trump called them out daily. He upset their thieving apple cart whenever possible. Being President he caused them to freakout and show themselves for who they really are, Marxists.
