Calling all K-8 teachers!!! Learn to teach reading as a science! Join local nonprofit Words in the Wild for a unique summer learning opportunity. Develop the skills and confidence to integrate literacy instruction and nature studies through a scientific lens. We'll examine read alouds and story time strategies, differentiation in group settings, and 1:1 support of individual readers and writers—all through a strengths-based perspective. Educators will learn to teach students how to uses inquiry as the basis for investigating words and their meanings.
