Will Task-Train out of our Morrison Quarry.  PURPOSE:  Run excavators used for  moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, stone and other materials. Conducts routine daily inspections of equipment and maintains equipment in a clean and safe manner.  Key Responsibilities:  • Operate, excavators or other types of large equipment used for moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, and stone. • Loads material into bins, into crusher, into trucks or into plant • Moves earth or other materials from one location to another • Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment; Maintains appearance of equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels and performs minor repairs as needed • Keeps equipment clean and orderly • Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental requirements are followed at all times • Completes paperwork that may be necessary; assists with other duties required • Performs the day-to-day activities of a plant (Sand and Gravel, Quarry), duties could include tasks associated with maintaining the stationary equipment of various plants • Maintains and reviews maintenance logs for repairs • Communicates with drivers and crew which includes supervisor, loader operators and laborers KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent.   REQUIRED: Minimum of one year of experience with Excavators, Loaders and other types of large equipment used for sand & gravel, and stone.  REQUIRED: Valid Driver’s License.
