Job Description: Gonzaga is hiring for multiple custodian positions. These positions will be temporary with the possibility of being hired on permanently after a 90 day temp period. Perform a variety of custodial assignments, including such duties as cleaning, snow and ice removal, furniture handling, emergency response and restorative services. Work in variety of settings including dormitories, food service areas, administrative offices, academic buildings and outdoors. Minimum Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent • Valid driver’s license; proven driving ability with good driving record • Successfully pass pre-employment physical • Demonstrated ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions • Demonstrated ability to follow safety instructions; including the potential of handling various chemicals/cleaning materials • Available to work different shifts (days, nights & weekends) • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment Desired Qualifications: • Experience working multiple shifts (days, nights & weekends) • General labor experience If interested, please apply via our site at Gonzaga University is a Jesuit, Catholic, humanistic institution, and is therefore interested in candidates who will contribute to its distinctive mission.
