Description
Check this: I found this note, written in cursive, dated Feb. 16 1981. It's from a guy named Adam to a girl named Tina. Someone kept this note for 40 years and lost it at a bus stop or something. I want to find Adam or Tina and return this note to them. It has been kept folded and is in great condition for a 40 year old letter. I think it might be special to someone. Hoping this group has a clue, or can share this in the right venues, to return this note to the right person.
Some clues:
• I found it at 13th and Harlan, near the light rail tracks and the bike/ped path. blown against the chain-link fence.
• It was\is in great condition, so while it may have been blown by the wind, and finally stuck in the fence where I found it, it probably was not out in the street for very long
• The letter indicates Tina's parents were recently divorced.
• The date on the letter is February 16, 1981
• He asks "do you like ice-skating", so they would have been in a cilmate that permitted ice-skating in February (that includes Colorado)
• Adam asks "we were going to get 'married' when we grow up." Married is scribbled out, but you can see the word still. They have been friends since child-hood
