Maintenance Technician-Apartment complex

We are looking to hire a maintenance technician to add to our team. This is a part-time position with potential for more hours later for the right person. The ideal candidate will be available Monday-Friday and a couple hours on Sundays. There may also be a possibility for some on-call responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and has some knowledge of building maintenance. Duties include but are not limited to: *Light electrical and plumbing *Painting and apartment turns *Cleaning out vacated units *Daily trash pick-up around the complex *Assisting with snow removal and lawn care Candidates must have reliable transportation and their own tools. Position will start as Independent Contractor status and a 1099 will be issued. If job performance is satisfactory after probationary period, there will be an option to be put on the payroll.
