just-barely-too-old-to-join-the-27-club southern crooner who has somehow ended up in philly seeks serious musicians to start classic cosmic american music project a la the byrds, new riders of the purple sage, judee sill, the band, maybe with a little roxy music and nick cave not trying to create some sort of gimmick band where we all have to wear bolo ties and fringe. just been listening to and writing lots of country-esque tunes lately and want to explore them in a more full sounding context i sing and play guitar mostly. used to play piano well but am pretty rusty mostly looking for a harmony and guitar/piano partner and a pedal steel player at the moment - bass and drums to come later if necessary i've got a full album worth of tunes that i'm always tweaking but are more or less ready to go looking to practice, play shows, and make a damn good record no flakes looking forward to hearing from you cheers
