Currently guitarist & drums, seek other like-minded musicians/vocalist (M/F) for newly-forming originals band. Looking for 2nd guitarist (lead/rhythm), bass player, keyboards and/or vocalist to add their own creativity to what we're doing. (Vocals are a priority, as former lead vocalist is no longer available.) We'd like to put together an original set of music, play-out locally, then see where things go from there... focusing on playing live initially, with the potential of recording should things progress. We welcome others' own original songwriting contributions as well. Open to various genres, but please, no metal (heavy, black, death or otherwise). We are more an "alternative/indie pop/rock" sound. (Think R.E.M., Cars, Smithereens, Specials, Cure, English Beat, Elvis Costello, Smiths, Talking Heads, Bowie, etc.) Early stages, with a good start on some original tunes. Just started getting together in-person recently. 40+ age-wise, families/jobs, etc....so, no problems just focusing on the music & creative process. Looking for team players, not superstars, with the idea the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. If interested, please have samples of playing ability/style/vocals, etc. available. Practice space w/small PA in Moorestown. Once-a-week or so, mostly weekday evenings and maybe some occasional weekend afternoons, if needed. Some flexibility per any potential new member's schedule.
