Raleigh-based Fitness Equipment Company is seeking a Delivery Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position is professional, strong, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, driven and has a focus on customer service. Job Responsibilities/Duties • Move equipment/product into customer’s homes/businesses, including ascending/descending flight(s) of stairs without damage to the product or customer’s property • Load and unload trucks • Proper Assemble and test product according to manufacturer’s specifications • Accurate documentation of delivery paperwork • Secure cargo/product Skills/Abilities/Aptitudes Needed: • Mechanical abilities, use of hand tools, and heavy equipment operations are a plus. • Customer service focus • Ability to work and make decisions independently in the field • Ability to multi-task • Detail-oriented with a focus on follow-up • Professional, neat appearance • Ability to communicate effectively with customers • Ability to complete paperwork properly, legibly and on time • Must have valid NC driver license and clean driving record • Reliable transportation to and from work • Dependable and strong work ethic • High School Diploma • Physically able to perform all tasks related to the position to include the ability to walk, climb stairs, and to lift 150 pounds without assistance • Back ground check and drug test will be required.
