There are several differences between covid and the common flu. A. Covid lasts much longer (months) and can cause long term and even permanent complications. B. Covid is far more contagious than the flu. Th idea that covid is a conspiracy has many flaws. Who is behind the conspiracy. This is a global pandemic. So clearly its not our government. If covid is a conspiracy what is the motive? Who gained something from the virus. Dont forget that Donald Trump himself was caught on tape (Woodard interview) saying that “this virus is extremely deadly, much more deadly than the most strenuous flu”. Trump never denied these comments. In fact he owned up to these comments and said he was “protecting the american people”. And he admitted to lying about the virus to “avoid panic”. If covid is a hoax, Trump is the head of the operation. Did the world overreact to covid? Perhaps. But personally I do not think so and here’s why- infection rates decreased geographically proportionately with mask compliance. And- infection rates dropped steadily in correlation with the vaccine. I believe that you covid hoax people are just poking for things to be dramatic and angry about. Chronic whiners.
