Egyptian spiny mice. Males, females and babies as well. All are use to being handled, some more than others. I am cutting back on my rodents. These mice live in family groups in the desert, however two males will fight to the death, especially if females are present. They are grass and seed eaters but also enjoy feeder insects. These mice live longer than regular mice, instead of 1-2 years their lifespan is 5-6 years. Gestation is longer as well a longer 40 days, young are precocial (furred and eyes and ears open at birth). These mice are also diurnal but they can switch to nocturnal vise versa. Mine are nocturnal. Colors are Agouti but I have some mice that are heterozygous for cream and satin. Trios do well (1 male 2 females) however you will have babies if this is$7.00 ea. Text for pictures. \
