Bradford Shawsheen Coating Technologies (BSCT) seeks a bright, detail-oriented, and highly organized Lab Technician to join their Quality Control team in Andover, Massachusetts. The QC Lab Technician will perform light duty lab testing at the quality supervisor and/or quality director’s direction. The successful candidate is comfortable working independently and has a solid understanding of the concept of quality control. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES *Retrieve samples from the factory *Lab Testing *Perform & Document all specified raw material, in-process, and finished goods tests *Report nonconforming test results to Supervisor and/or Director *Perform data entry of test results *Perform miscellaneous tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization of lab *Perform calibration or calibration verification of testing equipment *Assist Quality Supervisor in test evaluation of complaints *Complete projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Director *Follow all safety and environmental rules, requirements, and procedures *Other duties as necessary WAGE BSCT offers a competitive wage commensurate with experience. SCHEDULE This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. QUALIFICATIONS *High school diploma or equivalent required *Minimum one year of prior Inspection experience *Comfortable and able to work safely in a laboratory environment *Familiarity with analytical techniques and laboratory procedures *Basic math and computer skills *Ability to lift up to 25 pounds *Strong interpersonal and communication skills *Willingness to work flexible hours on occasion *Experience in the tape industry a plus APPLY ONLINE at bsct.hirescore.com No phone calls or walk-ins, please.
