I have a home with an old AC unit. It worked great until the fan seized up. The compressor is old and the bearing is bad in the fan motor. Is there any way you can repair the bearing and/or mount a new fan motor? Anything except having to purchase an entire new free-standing compressor. I just can't afford to buy a new compressor. Everything is mounted on concrete, open, and easily accessible on all sides. This can be repaired in the evening, at night or on a weekend.
