We are seeking to grow our customer base and service team. City Compost has its main operation location in Leominster, MA. This will be the end destination for your route and the routes typically start from home. Job Description City Compost seeks candidates interested in sustainability, environmental protection, and local growing to help conduct our composting service. Job primarily consists of driving a service route primarily for our residential. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs of contained material required. Commercial services may also be included on the routes at times as assigned. This is a private contractor position and requires your own vehicle. Responsibilities Collection, Counting, and Weighing of Compost Ingredients Container Cleaning and Compost Mixing Pile Management and Quality Control Record Keeping Engaging with Potential Customers to Grow the Business Sharing What We Do, How, and Why Requirements Strong Work Ethic Attentive to Details Start On Time Follow through on Commitments Goal Oriented English Speaking Ability to Regularly Lift and Carry Short Distances 10-30 lbs Work Outside and on the Road in All Weather Conditions Strong Communication Skills Eagerness to Learn Compensation is tied directly to work performed. Compensation tied to the route performed and vehicle. Fuel is considered in compensation. City Compost is hiring for multiple positions and has immediate availability.
