Join us for an evening relaxation, movement and connection as we honor the life of Candace Pierson Deshazo. All fitness levels welcome. Please join us for a fun night of relaxation and prizes as The Candace Pierson DeShazo Scholarship Fund Committee hosts A Sunset Yoga Night. The yoga class will be hosted by Clarissa (Barker) Coley. Clarissa is a certified yoga instructor and a graduate of Bureau Valley High School, Class of 1999. The yoga class will start at 7:30pm and conclude at 8:30pm. All fitness levels are welcome. The evening will be a time to highlight how movement, breath and 'checking in' promotes not only physical health but most importantly mental health. There will be a number of raffle drawings from local businesses held at 8:30pm. Everyone is welcome to join. Come for the prizes, come for the Yoga, come to enjoy a night promoting mental health in Bureau County. This event is free of charge. Donations will be accepted on the night of the event or through the Eventbrite registration link. Please join us for a great cause and help to spread awareness of mental health and mental wellness. The proceeds from this event will go toward funding the newly created Candace Pierson DeShazo Scholarship Fund. This fund was established to award a scholarship to a Bureau Valley High School Senior and also to fund mental health education at the high school.
