A support group designed for people of any gender identity from ages 14-17 to help build self-esteem, self-awareness and coping skills. Have you been feeling a lack of confidence in yourself lately? Are you struggling with self esteem, body image and expressing your feelings and emotions? Do you find it difficult to engage in social interactions? Middle School and High School can be stressful. You are going through many changes emotionally, physically and mentally. We hear you and this is why we have created this group just for you! Join our judgement free counseling group therapy session where you will learn to discover your self-worth and how to appreciate yourself while building your confidence and self esteem. This is a weekly open & interactive group for middle school and high school students that discusses: Healthy self-esteem & coping habitsFriendships & relationshipsSafe dating & gender/sexual identityAnd more! This group currently being offered at our Park Ridge office, but we hope to expand it again soon at our Chicago, Barrington and Lake Forest offices. Participants will need to complete a 45-minute evaluation prior to enrollment, unless they are already receiving individual treatment at the Counseling Speaks, LLC Groups are held in-person at our Park Ridge office on Thursdays from 5-6PM and RSVP is required. The cost of each session is $30 for each 1 hour session. Space is limited to 12 participants. The group is an open group. Please be aware that safety guidelines in efforts to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus will be enforced during the event, including wearing a mask and maintaining a physical of distance of at least 6 feet at all times.
