Sports

04 August, 2021

Description

After a hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, the Japan America Friendship Night returns in 2021. This is also our first time at the Texas Rangers’ new stadium, Globe Life Field! Join us for this fun event to build U.S.-Japan camaraderie, cheer on the Rangers, and see the Los Angeles Angels’ Shohei Ohtani, a Japanese pitcher/designated hitter who is a leading candidate to win the MVP (Most Valuable Player) this year. Tickets will be available in the batter’s eye section, which is directly above center field and offers beautiful views of both the game and the new stadium. The batter’s eye section includes a unique seating experience with a private table for four attendees and $25 that can be used for food, drinks, or souvenirs. You will also have wait staff to assist with any needs that you have during the game. Please register by Wednesday, July 21 if you wish to sit in the Japan-America Society section. Tickets in the batter’s eye area will still be available after this date, but we cannot guarantee that you will be seated with other Japan-America Society members and supporters.
