First off, I have NEVER had to rehome a pet my ENTIRE life! The only reason I need to rehome, Maximus (Max), is he has become far to powerful for me as an older woman to handle, he is just soooo strong; ALL muscle! Maximus is a purebred American Staffordshire Terrier, 3 years old, chocolate with white tipping. He has a large block head, wide chest, ears cropped correctly, beautiful coat (no skin problems or conditions), beautiful amber eyes, his teeth are sooo white they look like he has veneers! As I stated before, he is 60 lbs. of solid muscle! He is extremely strong yet will crawl up next to you or in your lap and be the biggest love bug! He loves to have ALL the attention, so he would do best in a home with no other pets or children! We actually have a small dog and cat and he has never hurt them, but we don’t give him the chance! He has been exposed to a lot of different people but his reaction to most are friendly, only a few he didn’t care much for (they say dogs know bad people). We are always careful because we know his strength is unbelievable! Maximus was just at our vet two weeks ago and got neutered and received ALL his shots. Max is also on monthly heartworm and flee/tick prevention. He walks great on a leash and he rides in the car like a dream! He is crate trained (but can only deal with sleeping in it at night). He likes to just lay around on our hardwood floors and play with his toys inside if it’s hot outside, but if the weather is cool, he loves to go on LONG walks or run around in a big backyard with a tall fence ( Max MUST go to a home with a large backyard with a tall fence or a lot of land; he is very active). Max is housebroken, but I basically take him out every two hours if we are inside just so he doesn’t have to bark or moan to let me know. Max is microchipped as well, which can be transferred into the new owners name. Max will come with the following items (ALL NEW): Two harnesses and leads, nightlights for harnesses, training collar with remote (charges off computer), food and water bowls with high stand, large crate, his favorite beach towel, toys, and whatever is left of his food (Max eats Blue, chicken and rice). $500.00 FIRM-CASH ONLY!
