Hello there, I am Lizzy and I have worked with children for many years. I have worked with K-8th graders in an after school program (and in summer programs) for four years in the south side of Chicago close to the University of Chicago, where I graduated from college. I have occasionally babysat children ever since. I am currently looking to tutor students in any summer academic material for a few hours every week. I don't mind working with multiple children at once. I have also spent time working as a student teacher in summer programs with high school students as well. My philosophy when it comes to children is to teach them to feel good about themselves while at the same time providing the necessary structure and tough love to elevate them to new heights of responsibility, self-esteem, and resiliency.
