Kelly Services is currently recruiting for 2nd and 3rd shift Assembly Operators in the Aiken, SC area. Please forward your resume for consideration. Based in AIKEN, SC, this position will have you utilizing a variety of hand and power tools to perform routine and assembly of basic components in accordance with quality and quantity standards. AS AN ASSEMBLY OPERATOR, YOU WILL: •Follow procedures for assembling products, handling products, equipment and materials per the production department and company's quality system procedures. •Review shop operations packets, Bills-of-Materials, and engineering drawings to insure that incoming materials to be assembled are correct as to specified quantity/quality/part number. •Based on production specifications and/or Team Leader's instructions, select parts, tools, and equipment required for quality mechanical assembly production. •Utilize properly calibrated precision measuring instruments when performing inspections and inform the Team Leader of any operating, material, or parts condition that would interfere with production quality or quantity. •Perform rotine operator maintenance and operational checks on all tools and equipment utilized. •Segregate and periodically dispose of scrap and recycled material into approved collection containers. •Operate appropriate equipment required to move materials into, around, or out of the department. •Maintain an accurate record of all work performed in the appropriate company format. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: •High School/GED •Previous experience in assembly
