Troopers Seek Driver Who Crashed Into CycleBar, Fled Scene

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for the driver who crashed into the CycleBar at 8918 Strength Ave. and then fled the scene. The crash occurred Wednesday at 12:30 a.m. Troopers said an SUV, believed to be a red Ford Explorer, was traveling south in the parking lot when it crashed through the front window of the CycleBar. The driver then put the SUV into reverse and fled the scene, traveling west on Bear Landing Way. Troopers said the SUV sustained extensive front-end damage.
