Reinforced Carbine Skills- Reinforcing the basics to build a stronger foundation. At AGC we are constantly reinforcing the basic fundamentals of shooting. This course is designed for both experienced shooters and novices. Course work will have students applying bore to sight offset/50yrd shooting, reloading, recoil control, and various shooting positions. Be sure to come with a properly zeroed rifle!! I'll say again come with a zeroed rifle!!! We will confirm zeros but will not spending more than a hour for conformation of zero. If needing to zero your rifle before class, please contact Aaron at 501-218-6999. Students should have a base level of skill and firearms safety before attending this course. They should know how to safely load, unload, and reload their firearm. We will reinforce the rest! To attend the class students will need the following items:$20 Range Fee separate from course fee. A quality, reliable AR-15, AK47, PCC or other magazine fed rifle variant with at least 4 magazines A safe, quality 2-point or single point sling (contact us if you have questions about what this is) 300 rounds of quality ammunition (let us know if you need help sourcing ammunition). All the usual PPE for the range- eye protection (not sunglasses), ear protection, a hat, and weather appropriate clothing, AS AGC IS FAMOUS FOR TRAINING IN THE RAIN. IT WILL BE HOT, SO BRING WATER TO COOL OFF WITH, A TOWEL TO SOAK IN COOL WATER, AND LOTS OF WATER TO DRINK. TAILGATE TENTS ARE WELCOME!!!! There will be one hour for lunch, its recommended that you check out the food truck!! A folding/camp chair and snacks, are also recommended. Aaron also has 198 instructor development/training hours. Aaron's priorities and values are guided by GOD, Family, and Country! In 2018 Aaron became a RANGEMASTER Certified Instructor. Aaron also has volunteered at D.A.R.C(Direct Action Resource Center) for the past 8yrs as Opfor for local, regional swat teams, S.O.F and other various Military units running Force on Force scenarios.
