NEW YORK CITY — Barely a day passed in New York City over the past week without coronavirus levels dipping to pandemic-low levels. New Yorkers have the vaccine to thank for COVID-19's steady decline over the past six months, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday. New coronavirus cases fell 95 percent since January, he said.
