CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER Compensation: Competitive, DOE Employment type: full-time Jetton Construction Inc.of Berkeley is seeking a Project Manager to oversee, manage and direct all aspects of residential construction projects. The position requires significant experience in high-end residential construction, including management and supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership qualities that allow them to orchestrate complicated projects and produce strong results. They will spend their time between the office and job sites, collaborating with each job’s Project Supervisor. Responsibilities & Duties Collaborate with Project Supervisors on estimates, including labor, supplies, materials and other ancillary costs Maintain strict build-out schedules, making changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met Create and maintain budgets and change orders Drive cost-effective project management techniques and strategies in the field Create and distribute RFP's, RFI's and Submittals Review shop drawings in a comprehensive and timely manner Foster and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all Qualifications & Skills Significant experience as a Project Manager or Supervisor in the residential construction industry Proficiency in Windows operating systems and willing/able to learn new computer software Strong interpersonal skills in working with clients, architects, subcontractors and the public Understanding of and desire to work against racism, sexism and homophobia at work Organization, initiative, and motivation to learn on the job Benefits & Perks Competitive Pay, 401(k), Health Insurance, Paid Vacation, Company Holidays Company Values & Culture Jetton Construction’s principles have remained the same since its inception in 1980 - to provide sustainable building practices, excellent craft, and caring service at good value.
