Description
PUYALLUP, WA — Pierce County is seeking public input on how it can improve transportation for residents with limited options.
The survey, run by the Pierce County Coordinated Transportation Coalition, only takes about five minutes and can be completed in English, Vietnamese, Korean, Spanish and Russian. Residents who want to take part can find the online applications on Pierce County's website.
Organizers say submissions are anonymous, but will help them develop and coordinate transportation for those who cannot currently easily access public transit.
The Pierce County Coordinated Transportation Coalition helps coordinate public transit, human services and private transportation, with the goal of making it easier for seniors, residents with disabilities, and people with low incomes to get around.
Meanwhile, Pierce Transit is also still taking comments on their Bus Stop Balancing Project, which aims to remove up to 400 redundant bus stops by mid September.
