TOWSON, MD — The Fourth of July Parade in Towson will be dedicated to first responders and soldiers in 2021. The parade route will be as follows: It will start at the intersection of Towsontown Boulevard and Bosley Avenue. The parade will continue down Bosley, Allegheny and Washington avenues. Marching bands, fire trucks, dance troupes, costumed characters and other groups will be participating in the parade, which will include the Fire Brigade Pipes and Drums of Greater Baltimore, White Sabers, Citywide Gold Stars Theme Marching Band and others. The Towson Fourth of July Parade will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 3. It costs the Towson Chamber of Commerce about $30,000 to put together the parade. Mail donations to the Towson Chamber at 44 W. Chesapeake Avenue, Towson MD, or online. Before the parade, The 4 on the 4th Race will take off at 8:15 a.m. The Bike Rush will start at 9:30 at the corner of York Road and Burke Avenue. Parking will be $5 all day at Baltimore County parking lots lots in and around Towson.
