JOB DESCRIPTION Small estate farm property is seeking one or two laborers with serious labor and landscaping experience. Must be local to Poulsbo. Hours are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm daily, 5 days a week. Extra hours may be available. For the right candidate, it could convert to a full-time or long-term working arrangement. NOTE: You must have prior experience with landscaping and hard labor. We receive many applications from people who have never done such work; let’s respect everyone’s valuable time. This is a labor-intensive job for those who can sustain a consistent pace daily with hard physical labor and know firsthand what it takes. Pay depends on work ethic, reliability, ability to perform independently, and expertise with any tools or specialty skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Property maintenance, which includes landscaping, pruning, and planting. Mowing lawns and pastures. Clearing hillside forest of trees and ground cover. Plant, tree, and bed maintenance. Digging and earthmoving as needed. Aid in executing hands-on labor projects and improvements to estate as instructed by Estate Manager. Other duties as assigned by Estate Manager; due to the varied responsibilities candidates should be flexible and work well with some changing or varied responsibilities every day. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Good communication skills. Must respect and maintain confidentiality. Ability to lift minimum of 100 lbs. Gardening and landscaping (pruning, weeding, planting, grounds care). Must be able to work some weekends. PREFERRED / DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum basic mechanical knowledge and experience.
