'First Fridays' Return To Ellicott City Through October

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — The First Friday series has returned to Old Ellicott City. Now through October, on each first Friday of the month, the Ellicott City Partnership will host themed activities and events. June's First Friday will be Paint the Town Orange in support of the home team, the Baltimore Orioles. Old Ellicott City businesses will be decorating their storefronts, promoting specials and embracing team spirit. Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., the ECP will set up in Parking Lot F and provide visitors with a branded O's and OEC car decal and Orioles Caps to the first 500 participants. "We are thankful to the Orioles organization for the partnership we were able to build, that adds on to the exciting day," Chris Pineda, OEC executive director, said. "While our visitors come and experience Old Ellicott City and patronize the businesses, they can also participate in the First Fridays Great Receipt Race, which enters them into a chance to win prizes.
