Building Custodian Swing Shift 12:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. M-F Wage range starts at $17.50/hour DOE + $2.50/hr Shift Differential SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment campus wide, and may also drive company vehicles to complete business errands. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Vacuums and mops floors, cleans windows, empties garbage (inside and out), cleans restrooms and lunch rooms in all buildings; Removes production garbage from all areas; Collects, flattens and prepares cardboard for recycling; Performs inventory and orders cleaning supplies; Restock / reorder breakroom and custodial supplies; Drive company vehicle to complete daily pick up of lunches and mail, drop off of garbage and recycling, and potentially, pick-up and drop-off of employees; Meet established productivity levels, quality standards and deadlines; Follow appropriate safety precautions; Performs other duties as required JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age 18; General knowledge of cleaning procedures; Ability to maintain organized and clean work environment; Ability to use cleaning products; Valid Washington State driver’s license; Clean driving record; Ability to understand and use different types of basic computers and touch screens; Ability to work independently; Ability to attend to detail; Ability to follow verbal, video and written procedures and instructions; Ability to perform repetitive routine procedures; Ability to perform all job duties accurately; Ability to use hands to lift, hold and move up to 50 lbs; Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, squat, kneel, bend, stoop, push, pull, pry, reach overhead, and reach outward for most or all of shift; Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; Ability to grasp and operate hand tools and equipment throughout the shift; Ability to handle sharp instruments safely; Ability to see close-up and peripherally, and have depth perception HOW TO APPLY: Candidates must complete an online application in order to be considered for this position.
