POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ – The Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk has been reopened after being closed earlier due to a reported bomb threat, according to Point Pleasant Beach's mayor Paul Kanitra.
"We anticipate the boardwalk to be reopened soon as soon as the search is concluded," Kanitra told Patch before the boardwalk reopened after 4 p.m.
According to New Jersey 101.5, the bomb threat was made to an office building on Broadway.
