Tuxedo Cookie aka Tux is a Jersey Wooly I have been fostering, who is ready for his new home. At 3lb he is full sized. He is intact (can have babies). He is a very friendly bunny and needs a home where he will be held and played with. He comes when called, and is friendly and curious toward other animals. I have not tried him on leash and harness, but expect he will do well. (He is smaller than he looks so needs a XS harness if you decide to do this). He takes treats very gently, and is a cuddly guy. He would be an excellent pet for a small child (age 6-10) or for someone with an interest in raising or showing rabbits. He's a handsome guy, showable color, with no disqualifiers or faults - so if you're into 4H or county fairs he's a good bet to get blue ribbons, maybe even best of breed. He has good teeth, and clean ears. I have dematted him, trimmed his nails, and have been combing him daily. Tux will come with: Cage: 17Wx42Lx21H indoor cage. Water Bottle, Food and Treat Dishes, Jingle Ball, Litter Corner Tray (is not fully house trained but is learning) Feed: Partial bag of hay, rabbit pellets, advanced care rabbit feed mix Grooming Supplies: metal comb, nail trimmers, small scissors, new (unopened) tube of numbing bleed-stop cream. PLEASE NOTE: Long-haired rabbits need to be brushed or combed daily, and must drink from a water bottle, otherwise their fur will form mats. If you're new to long haired rabbits, I can show you how to brush and comb him. His grooming kit is included. I will also be available to help de-mat him if he gets matted up. I am asking a small re-home fee to make sure that he goes to a good home, and to cover my costs for his supplies. I am hoping to get $60 for him and all his supplies. He's a sweet boy, and if I didn't have dogs I'd probably have ended up keeping him, so I hope you'll send pics and updates of how he's doing. Please text if you're interested.
