JOLIET, IL —At the same time that downtown Joliet is welcoming back Juliet's Tavern under new ownership, another empty storefront less than a block away is also coming back to life. Last year, amid the pandemic, the Bey Shah Hair Boutique shut down and never reopened. Now, a new business sign just went up. Joliet Kreamers will be opening its retail business in the storefront at 173 North Chicago St. People around Joliet have been celebrating the news this week with posts on social media. One person wrote: "Shout out to the home at Joliet Kreamers finally got his sneaker shop."
