ALAR Water Treatment – Mokena, IL
Established in 1970, ALAR Water Treatment is an essential business that designs and builds water pollution control equipment for commercial production and manufacturing industries. ALAR continues to grow through its expanding worldwide distribution of chemical and mechanical industrial wastewater systems. We are located in Mokena, IL; with in-house sales, engineering, production, chemical, parts and service departments.
This position requires a mechanically inclined, reliable individual with experience in a shop environment. Alar has experienced plant personnel who will work to provide any requisite training.
Key Responsibilities:
Aid in receiving in tool cribAssist in equipment finishing, painting/prepMove requisite materials through shop using fork truck or hand cartKeep up with general shop cleanliness and maintenance tasksSupport in basic manufacturing tasks (lifting, threading, cutting)
Qualifications:
1-2 years of shop experience preferredHand tool and measurement device experience General computer knowledge

Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday thru Friday.
