Here are the top five stories in Beaverton today: An Oregon House Conduct Committee found that State Rep. Brad Witt, D-Clatskanie, created a hostile work environment and violated workplace rules. Witt's district includes parts of Washington County. He awaits the Committee's ruling regarding possible consequences. (OPB) The Beaverton Safe Parking program marked its two-year anniversary this week. The service provides a safe place to park vehicles for those experiencing homelessness. (beavertonresourceguide.com)Washington County Department of Land Use and Transportation is inviting residents to comment on an upcoming sidewalk connection along 174th Avenue, between Lapaloma and Solano lanes. The update will include ADA ramps. (Washington County) The Beaverton Farmers Market welcomes a few new micro-farms this year, including De Leon's Farm from Aloha and Cartwheel Community Farm from Sauvie's Island. The vendors will help fill the void left by Sun Gold Farm. The Farmers Market is open Saturdays through September.
