As a Geotechnical Field Technician you will work under minimal supervision and/or with our staff on a wide variety of projects. Candidate should enjoy working outdoors and on construction projects. Related experience and prior certifications are desirable, but not necessary. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Performing field testing on materials (concrete slump/air, soil compaction). -Research contract plans & specifications prior to conducting inspections. -Document work via daily inspection reports, photographs, and other reports. -Performing laboratory testing on materials. REQUIREMENTS: -Reliable vehicle for construction sites, valid driver's license and clean driving record. -Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds (soil and concrete samples, etc.) -Effective verbal and written communication skills required. -Ability to perform basic math and use measurement tools. -High school Diploma or equivalent.
