HUNTERSVILLE, NC — A driver's inability to stay in their lane on Interstate 77 prompted a traffic stop and a major drug bust, according to Huntersville Police Department. Darylmeka Renee Green, 27, was pulled over on I-77 early Tuesday morning for failure to maintain lane, HPD told Patch. During the stop, however, the HPD officer suspected that Green was driving while impaired. A search of the vehicle led officers to find 132 grams of marijuana "and a multitude of pills and scales," HPD said. Green was arrested and charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver MDA/MDMA; felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance; possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana; felony possession of marijuana; possession of marijuana paraphernalia; driving while impaired and no operators license.
