Description
He's stunning and HUGE. Only 8 months old and already twice his APBT moms size. He might end up even being bigger than his Italian mastiff father.
It's getting to be too hard to keep him and his brother seperated, and they can't stand eachother anymore.
We're homing him because he's going to be able to bond with a new family easier than his more aggressive brother.
He's a great watch dog. He has a booming mastiff voice. He's gentle with children, house trained and knows how to sit. The only issue you might have is him knocking someone over with his butt and long tail.
We have not had any issues with him trying to get out of the yard. (we do however have a 7 foot wood fence)
He has never marked in the house. He is used to sleeping in a kennel in the house. He does well inside and outside.
We do let him lay on the couch, so the would have to be something you retrain if that's not allowed in your home.
He's had pup shots but no rabies yet. He's been kept on Petarmour, no flea or tick problems.
He gets along OK with medium/ large females. I wouldn't recommend trying to keep him around other males unless you have experience introducing, and can do it slowly. I won't meet up to introduce him with a male, this is something you would have to work on yourself.
He will chase cats and other small animals (including small dogs).
Overall he's a great dog if you can handle large dogs and have experience with them. He is STRONG and he prefers women, but he likes men ok. Will only be homing if we feel the adopter can handle him and provide a nice home.
