Starting a Post Punk band

Hey everyone. Im looking to start a band and get gigging once things open up. I play bass and sing and Im looking for a drummer and guitarist to join. Ive played in a few bands out here and gigged at some of the local spots. Looking for like minded musicians who want to practice once a week and get good and play some rad shows! I have a job but my dream is to play music and tour for a living, so looking for musicians who want to take it all the way. I play a pretty driving bass, Peter Hook/ Death From Above style. Im into 80's 90's music, thrash, punk, electronic. I like bands like The Garden, Death Grips, The Cure, Gang Of Four, The Minutemen, The Birthday Party, Machine Girl, The Cramps, Sonic Youth, DEVO, The Misfits, early AFI, just to name a few. I am 28 so im looking for people who are over 21, around the same age. Please have transportation and your own gear. If we jam on the same influences I am able to send you some demos of mine. I have tons of originals, hope you do too lets make them pop. I figure we start out by playing some covers just to get a good feel and go from there. Im down to cover pretty much anything... then move on to originals.
