Grunge/Alternative/Rock/Jam band

Looking to form sort of an acoustic/rock group, mostly along the lines of the unplugged works of Alice in Chains & Pearl Jam, Tesla, Blind Melon, D. Matthews Band, Blues Travelers, Chris Cornell acoustic work, etc...not limited to only that. Covers would be ideal to begin with, just to get a gel started, then ideally progressing into original work. It's a jam band; not everything has to be written in minor chords, right?
