The warehouse associate processes orders, accepts deliveries, and keeps the warehouse organized. This includes everything from physically moving product by hand, with pallet jack, hand truck and fork lifts of different sizes around the indoor and outdoor warehouse space to properly maintaining all kitting, assembly, shipping and receiving records. Working indoors and outdoors all year long in all weather.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
•Pick/kit products, package and label according to company standards
•Collecting materials from the warehouse and prepare it for shop use or customer pick up
•Receiving and documenting inventory from deliveries, returns or returns from shop
•Assist in the inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse
•Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor
•Accepts deliveries of company products and stores them accordingly
•Keeps warehouse area clean and organized.
•Reports to warehouse supervisor or management to alert them of any issues with shipping or receiving.
•Assemble and test products according to company procedures
Qualifications:
•Prior experience working in a warehouse preferred but not mandatory
• Forklift experience a plus
•Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 50 pounds
•Ability to work independently and safely
•Possesses strong organizational skills.
•Is detail-oriented and capable of noticing small errors on orders or defective aspects of products.
•Works well with others.
•Exhibits strong communication skills, essential for working with other employees
•Demonstrates knowledge of ERP computer systems
•Demonstrates familiarity with all warehouse safety precautions and is always able to observe these
•Valid Driver’s License preferred; CDL preferred.
