Currently hiring for a Full Time position with our Judson Manor retirement community located in Cleveland's University Circle. What will I do in this role with Judson? As a Porter, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities: Perform assigned cleaning duties and a variety of other building and customer service-related tasks in accordance with established departmental procedures and standards Carpet and hard floor maintenance, rubbish removal, window washing, cleaning ceilings & light fixtures, hanging drapery, furniture moves, facility set-ups, pick-up, handling & delivery of supplies Willingness and ability to be cross trained in basic laundry operations and the handling and distribution of soiled and clean linens Regular attendance of departmental and organizational meetings; attendance of mandatory in-services Respond to all facility emergencies as outlined in the Emergency Handbook, and to report any unsafe conditions or situations involving the facility or its residents to management or security Maintain a record of acceptable attendance and punctuality What do I need for this role with Judson? High school diploma/GED (required) Experience in institutional housekeeping and laundry techniques (preferred) Must be able to pass physical examination upon employment and periodically thereafter if so required For IMMEDIATE consideration; apply at
