About this Position DeepSea Power & Light is looking for a motivated Project Coordinator to play a vital role in supporting our Engineering and Manufacturing departments. Working closely with the Director of Engineering and with our mechanical, software, and electrical engineers, you will ensure the smooth flow of information across departments and coordinate the team’s priorities. Your Mission In this position, you will working with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to guide our ongoing new product development and manufacturing release projects. You will work on prioritizing the day-to-day team activities while keeping your eyes on what needs to happen next to move our project forward. Responsibilities • Help track progress on engineering project priorities • Follow up with engineers about status • Compile periodic reports • Manage support requests from Sales and Manufacturing • Facilitate the change management process • Participate in continual improvement projects Qualifications • Keen attention to detail • Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong time management skills • Positive, helpful, and willing to learn new skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Comfortable with productivity tools Other Helpful Skills • Experience using team management tools such as GitLab, Mattermost, Trello or similar Education and Experience • Associates Degree or above in Science, Engineering, or a related field • 1+ year(s) of Project Management/Coordination, Project Analyst or related experience We Offer • A position within an established company that has over 30 years of experience, growing from humble beginnings in our founder’s garage to a team of over 300. • Medical, dental, and vision coverage. • Traditional and Roth 401(k) investment options, with a current company matching contribution of up to $50 per paycheck (biweekly). • Flexible Paid Time Off plan with no cap or “use it or lose it” requirement.
