Floor Covering Field Supervisor Immediate opening available for experienced flooring professional for a long standing family owned and operated retail flooring showroom known for our superior customer service and professional staff. About the Position This position requires an individual to be able to visit job sites and conduct quality control procedures, service claims by inspecting installations and facilitating solutions, and performing minor repairs. It is also expected that the individual be a self- starter, personally well-organized/detailed, and willing to provide outstanding customer service and follow-up. The following are some of duties and expectations for this position: -Visiting job sites to conduct quality control -Site inspections for claims -Answering questions and providing information to customers about flooring. -Coordinating and communicating with sub-contractors. -Managing multiple projects at the same time -Working effectively with other store employees. -Following up in a timely and professional manner with customers on all requests or concerns. -Helping with dispatching installers -Assisting in managing the warehouse and inventory -Conducting moisture tests -Miscellaneous deliveries -Repairs as needed. Qualifications: -Project management is a plus but not required. -Flooring and installation experience -Must have open and flexible work availability. -Excellent oral and written communication skills. -Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality. -Self-motivated and internally driven to excel in your position and career. -Time management skills for juggling multiple deadlines and deliverables. -Reliable transportation and clear driving record
