Casual jammy group? I'm a dobro/lap steel....

Been gigging for decades, would like to chill a bit and focus on just having joyful musical conversations with like-minded folks instead of interminably practicing a standard PDX 40-minute set for yet another 3-band night at the typical PDX venue.… If you are in a jammy group like this, please hit me up! Any genre is fine…and some gigs would also be fine (house parties, farm markets, maybe a regular brewpub happy hour slot?) About me: I don’t “band hop” but over the last 10 years in PDX, I’ve been in jazz, country, alt-country, Americana, rock, country rock, acoustic folk, and am currently playing in a gypsy/swing jazz band on mostly bluegrass instruments…Some bands just seem to implode rather quickly here in PDX...I prefer ones that last a long time... I’ve also played and recorded as a sideman with a number of bands on dobro, lap steel, pedal steel and banjo… If there’s a musical conversation to be had, I’m down with it - and my true joy is in playing live, especially with creating improvised parts (covers are fine, as are originals, but I'm not interested in learning note-for-note lines for either). I don’t sing - my instrument is my voice - and my musical goal is to devise a part to play that serves each song and other instrument best.
